What's The Best Way To Prepare For A Board Presentation?

Don't present just pipeline. Present a view on the market.

The pipeline is visible in a report or dashboard. Provide narrative and assumptions on where / how the market is evolving and how you fit into the equation. 

And look at...

1) What's happening today;
2) Why it matters to the business;
3) What we can do to improve performance. Use callouts on any slides with data to focus on certain key messages, which I think is always helpful, but particularly in important with a pre-reach.
